The Very First Amp

It was around 2003 I got this serious amp bug bite and urge to build something right away.
At the time there really wasn't suppliers for tube amp parts in Finland, so only option was to
salvage old radios. So I went to find this WW2 era Telefunken receiver and took
it to parts. Turns out the only usable part was this OT you see on top of the amp. Ditched
everything else. Been kicking myself ever since now and then. You see, even pitch
black metal tubes with eagles and svastikas inside the unit were collector items.
